The War Axe and 7 flange Mace are based on 16th century originals. The
7-Flanged Mace was a formidable hand-to-hand combat weapon, capable of smashing
even the heaviest plate armour. This mace is typical of those used throughout
Europe. Equipped with a leather wrist and saddle thong, it features a
wire-wrapped, spiral-bound grip. The War Axe was an aristocratic cavalry weapon
capable of rending mail and piercing the heaviest of helms. It features a
wire-wrapped, spiral-bound grip.
